Returning for his second GenAI Wednesday, Albert opened with the gap that has the industry buzzing — a $356M blockbuster (Avengers: Endgame) next to a $5 clip he generated for the evening — and asked who AI is really about to disrupt. Walking the film value chain (creators, production companies, and the studios that hold the money and the screens), his answer: every player stays relevant if they adopt AI — the ones falling behind are the creators meeting it with fear. He pointed to two recent hits, Obsession and Backrooms, made by online creators on sub-$1M budgets, ran a live micro-workshop on building your own AI short, and premiered the first 90 seconds of Tarmac, an AI-assisted animated sitcom.
Key points:
- AI removes the budget gatekeeper, not the storyteller. Creators can now test and pitch ideas for hundreds of euros instead of waiting on a commissioner's green light.
- No one in the value chain is automatically "nuked" — except those who refuse to adapt. Studios have cash and distribution, production companies bring structure and networks, creators bring story and audience.
- The new hits are bottom-up — built on a creator's own audience rather than legacy IP, then picked up by Hollywood.
- 2026 tools are multimodal and easy; "good" is the hard part. Models like Seedance 2.0 take image + video + audio + text and return 15-second clips — but quality comes from human craft and tight references (sketches, 3D blocking, illustrated characters).
- What makes AI content land is emotional intent. It works when a human wrote it, the craft holds up, and audiences feel comfortable sharing it. Albert's go-to example is solo AI creator Gossip Goblin, whose videos draw comments like "this is what AI was made for" — proof that "make good stuff" beats "make AI stuff."

Albert's “5-W” prompt framework for any AI video shot:
- WHO — the subject
- WHAT — the action

It then shows how multi-modal AI video models work (image + video + audio + text → short clips, e.g. Seedance 2.0), how to build reference inputs with an image model, and a worked example assembling those references into a single prompt.
